ISE offers an ecosystem of technologies and services for measuring, monitoring, diagnosing, and validating machines and systems; hardware and software solutions for acquiring real-time signals from sensors installed on test benches or on the equipment under test.
Thanks to a multidisciplinary team with extensive experience, ISE is able to address the study of physical phenomena in a complete and in-depth manner, using a wide range of measurement technologies, including: vibrations, ultrasound, acoustic emissions, deformations, torque measurements, temperature, static and dynamic electrical measurements and many others.

The main development phases of testing activities include:
- Specialized sensors: Selection, supply, and installation of specific transducers for the characterization of physical phenomena, malfunctions, or process anomalies: accelerometers, strain gauges, ultrasonic sensors, pressure probes, currents, voltages, etc.
- Data acquisition systems: Design and supply of high-density, high-performance real-time measurement systems (DAQ) and IIoT solutions with hundreds of channels, with a particular focus on measurement systems for testing, predictive maintenance, and industrial monitoring.
- Software solutions for acquisition, analysis, and monitoring: Design, development, and supply of software solutions dedicated to the collection and management of data generated by test benches, machines, and systems. Front-end of data acquisition systems (DAQ), monitoring, real-time analysis in the time and frequency domain, and data post-processing.
- Field services and experimental support: Supervision of measurement system assembly, commissioning, and testing, design of qualification and test activities, execution and technical support for experimental campaigns, data analysis, reporting, and project management.
- Advanced vibration analysis: modal analysis, run-up, coast-down, phase measurements, and Vibration and Motion Catcher™: these types of measurements can be of added value for validating FEM models of components and machines and for troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Advanced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and diagnostics: Standard NDT inspections (visual, dye penetrant, ultrasound, magnetic particle) and advanced (residual stress, hardness measurement, deformation analysis) NDT inspections.
- Materials Analysis and Failure Analysis: Laboratory tests, spectroscopic analyses, and in-depth root cause studies (RCPE) to identify the causes of component and machine failures.
