About fourty people attended ISE's Workshop held the 21st of April at our offices in Milan. The subject matter was "Technical instuments and methodology for the diagnostic of Electric Motors related problems to upgrade Reliability and optimize maintanance costs".  The succesfull meeting, has given us the opportunity to share with the participants, our knowledge on the improvements made and that can be made thanks to the technology used for monitoring the health and condition of electric motors with PdMA’s advanced Electric Motor Testing technologies, and explain and illustrate the great saving that predictive maintanance is able to achieve. ISE, a distributor in Italy for PDMA Corporation solutions, presented the news of the american company  for a complete diagnostic of electrical motors (Rotor Evaluation Test, Power Test, Rotor Influence Check, valutazione della simmetria delle induttanze, Step Voltage Test, etc).

In Italy at last, presented by ISE, "Expert ALERT 3.40" AZIMA DLI newest software ExpertALERT 3,40. Compared with the previous model, questo gioiello compatible with DCX and DCA 60 reduces from 30 to 65% the time necessary to collect data . Thanks to its qualities the expert can log on to the measurements results through the web on the WATCHMAN Reliability Portal, and be notified by email of the data in real time.  New options give the possibility to set the specific needs on any type of accelerometer on the sensore triassiale, giving the possibility to collect even more accurate data

ISE is organizing for the 21st of April a full day workshop dedicated to Maintenance Managers,  the subject will be "Technical instuments and methodology for the diagnostic of Electric Motors related problems to upgrade Reliability and optimize maintenance costs". ISE attends Euromaintenance - International Maintenance Conference and Exhibition, promoted by the International Maintenance Foundation EFNMS, and organized in Italy by AIMAN and EIOM. In occasion of the International Conference of Industrial Maintenance, organized by EIOM October 20 to 22 at Veronafiere, ISE will be present with the workshop: "Best practices for excellent management of electric motors: last news on electrical and vibration measurements" ( 21th October at 16.00, room D). During the international meeting, AIMAN will organize a congress with title "Thinkink and making the maintenance: company industrial sustainability through proper use of maintenance approches", in which Ise will attend, on 20th October at 16,45, with a speech entitled "Diagnostics systems to increase the reliability of the rotating machines and application of "Real Time Balancing" systems in the Pescara Sacci cement factory".

ISE lands in Ireland
As part of a continued deployment of maintenance services to its multinational clients, ISE consolidates the development of its logistical and operational network by an headquarters in Ireland. The Company will have in Dublin its operational enclave in the island of the United Kingdom with offices and dedicated staff. Reached an important collaboration agreement between ISE and the U.S. PdMA Corporation, leader in the field of integrated  testing systems for electric motors. The partnership will commit the company of Tampa (Florida) to provide at ISE technologies and maintenance and control systems for their distribution and use in the diagnosis of rotating electrical machines in the italian industrial plants, according to the most modern techniques of predictive maintenance.                                                  
Among the innovative solutions that PdMA suggests, MCEMAX ™ model is certainly to be counted, which integrates tests and diagnostics of electric motors and alternators, allowing immediate notification of alarm situations.
 

ISE has organized in cooperation with SEA Marconi a Congress "Predictive maintenance and diagnostics as instruments to efficiently manage the maintenance budget". The event has achieved more success than aspected. Presenters from ISE and SEA Marconi was involved, and from others multinational companies as Ansaldo Energia and Huntsman Tioxide. Azima Holdings Inc., the US leader in the delivery of condition monitoring systems, last october announced the acquisition of DLI Engineering, a pioneer in vibration-based condition analysis since 40 years. The combined entity, Azima DLI, based inWoburn (Massachusetts), becomes the market leader in predictive machine maintenance, in terms of geographical and industrial extension of its business, concentration of experience on vibration analysis and customer portfolio (among which Air Liquide and the U.S. Navy). In Italy, ISE remains distributor of the new Azima-DLI products.

In occasion of the International Conference of Industrial Maintenance, organized by MCM from 23rd to 25th October in Veronafiere, ISE presents the workshop: "Predictive Maintenance: an innovative methodology for vibrations analysis in rotating machines". During the internal meeting organized by Aiman, ISE and Pfizer present a case history.

Following an assessment made by ISE Engineers in one of the Italian plants, a famous International Pharmaceutical Company committed to ISE the activity of Condition Based Maintenance. The agreement, signed last July, assures to the Company the remote monitoring of critical installations, and consulting for predictive maintenance operations to plant machines.

On June 6 in Genoa, at the Old Port, Group IB and AIMAN presented the seminar "Condition Based Maintenance in the ship industry," addressed to all shipping operators. A useful opportunity to learn about benefits, potential and applications of CBM in the field. Especially heard, in this context, the regulatory aspect with regard to security. ISE, among the companies sponsoring the event, in the afternoon presented the monitoring systems of DLI, which is distributor for Italy, applied to patterns (for the analysis of vibration on pumps, alternators, electric motors, turbines, etc.).
